Standards
What the courses are based on
American Health Association is an independent training provider in Cedar City, Utah. Courses are offered online through SimpleCPR.
Guidelines
CPR and AED lessons follow the published ILCOR consensus on science and the American Heart Association emergency cardiovascular care guidelines, including the 2025 update on choking, opioid-associated emergencies, and pediatric care. First aid lessons also draw on standard emergency-care references used in professional education.
Bloodborne-pathogen lessons address topics in OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.1030. OSHA does not issue CPR cards. Whether a card meets an employer, dental board, or Joint Commission expectation is that organization’s decision.
